Atomic Backland 109

Binding: optionally selectable in set configurator

Built for true big-mountain adventures: the Atomic Backland 109 delivers exactly what you need off-piste – uncompromising performance, reduced weight, and maximum fun on the descent.

With a 109 mm waist width, the new FreeTour Profile, and an ultra-light HRZN 3D Tip, you’ll enjoy superior floatation in deep powder. A new construction with more poplar wood and less metal, fiberglass, and resin ensures a smooth, agile ride – ideal for changing conditions. The Ultra Light Woodcore made of poplar and Karuba wood provides low weight and reliable stability, while an integrated ash insert around the binding area increases screw retention and durability.

The Powder Rocker – with a heavily rockered tip and tail combined with traditional camber underfoot – gives you precise edge hold even in crusty or tracked-out snow.

Whether on long ascents or steep descents, this ski was developed in collaboration with freeride pro Chris Rubens and offers an impressive weight-to-performance ratio. Ready to draw your line?
