HEAD skis - innovations with style

HEAD skis stand for modern materials, clean edge grip and stable running smoothness in any terrain. From Worldcup Rebels and Supershape to Shape, KORE, JOY and Oblivion, the brand covers piste, all-mountain, freeride and freestyle. At XSPO, we present the most important lines and technologies in a clear overview so that you can quickly find the right HEAD set-up for your style.

Korte geschiedenis van de marker

The HEAD Ski Company was founded in 1950 by aerospace engineer Howard Head in the United States. His breakthrough was the Head Standard, a composite ski with a wooden core and aluminium overlays, launched in 1950/51 and considered one of the first modern alpine skis. Today, HEAD is based in Kennelbach, Austria, and is part of an international group of companies.

The way to the right HEAD ski

  1. Determine use: Pure piste and carving? Supershape or shape. Sporty racing performance? World Cup Rebels. Versatile to off-piste? KORE. Park and playful riding style? Oblivion. Riders with a focus on lightness? JOY.
  2. Assess your riding ability: The higher the speed, the more torsional rigidity and damping. EMC in Rebels and Supershape provides additional stability on hard surfaces.
  3. Choose geometry: For narrow, clean carves, rely on the piste-centred sidecuts of the Supershape or Shape models. For variable snow conditions and flotation, KORE widths and designs provide the necessary range.
  4. Consider weight and handling: LYT and Graphene concepts bring noticeable weight savings without sacrificing control, especially on long days of skiing or when carrying.
  5. Look and feel: If you want to combine park and all-mountain, Oblivion models give you the desired playfulness including twin tip.

To help you find what you're looking for quickly, XSPO offers a wide selection of HEAD models and a good eye for equipment details. This allows you to combine tested quality with the style that suits you.
