The Rossignol Hero Athlete FIS GS is a FIS-approved 188 cm giant slalom race ski for top-level female athletes and competitive racers, engineered for maximum speed and precise GS turns. Its construction is directly derived from Rossignol’s World Cup skis, delivering uncompromising performance.
Featuring Line Control Technology (LCT), the ski provides maximum stability, strong edge grip and high precision at speed. The technology minimizes counter-flexing, improves snow contact and ensures a smooth, controlled ride through fast GS sections.
The race-ready construction offers total line control, powerful energy transfer and pinpoint accuracy. A high-performance GS race ski designed to gain those crucial hundredths on the course.
Ski Construction
- Line Control Technology (LCT) - ensures pure power transmission and, thanks to a centrally integrated power rail running from tip to tail, delivers stability in all conditions
- Rectangular Sandwich Full Sidewall Construction - vertical sidewalls along the entire ski length maximize edge grip, precision, balance and power transmission
- Ash Wood Core - provides natural vibration damping while delivering robust and dynamic power transmission
- FIS Approved Sidecut - guarantees precise compliance with international FIS race standards
- Full Camber - maximizes ski-to-snow contact for improved stability, precision and edge grip
- Full Titanal Layer - two full-width, full-length Titanal layers on each side of the core provide excellent stability in turns and significantly reduce torsional flex
- Cascade Tip - staggered metal and fiberglass laminates in the tip reduce inertia and swing weight, resulting in a more responsive ski with maximum control, stable turn initiation and precise steering
