The Rossignol Hero Athlete FIS GS Factory is the pinnacle of giant slalom performance, built as a FIS-approved 193 cm World Cup race ski for the highest level of competition. Its construction is directly derived from Rossignol’s World Cup skis, designed for athletes demanding maximum speed and precision.
Featuring Line Control Technology (LCT), the ski delivers outstanding stability, powerful edge grip and exceptional smoothness at top speed. The technology minimizes counter-flexing, improves snow contact and ensures precise, powerful GS turns.
The race-ready construction provides total line control, explosive energy transfer and ultimate precision. A high-end GS race ski for elite racers, engineered to gain those final hundredths on the course.
Ski Construction
- Line Control Technology (LCT) - ensures pure power transmission and, thanks to a centrally integrated power rail running from tip to tail, delivers stability in all conditions
- Rectangular Sandwich Full Sidewall Construction - vertical sidewalls along the entire ski length maximize edge grip, precision, balance and power transmission
- Beech Wood Core - provides stability and powerful responsiveness
- FIS Approved Sidecut - guarantees precise control and performance under race conditions
- Full Camber - increases edge grip and energy transfer to the snow
- Full Titanal Layer - two full-width, full-length Titanal layers on each side of the core provide excellent stability in turns and significantly reduce torsional flex
- Cascade Tip - staggered metal and fiberglass laminates in the tip reduce inertia and swing weight, resulting in a more responsive ski with maximum control, stable turn initiation and precise steering
- Sintered UHD Base - offers excellent wax absorption and durability, resulting in faster glide performance
