Kästle LEGEND 1956 – The Rebirth of an Icon
With the LEGEND 1956, Kästle revives a true classic – a ski that doesn’t just perform, but tells a story. Inspired by the iconic designs of the 1950s, this masterpiece blends timeless aesthetics with cutting-edge ski technology. Lovingly handcrafted in Kästle’s Hohenems workshop, each ski is a limited-edition work of art for those who value exclusivity, craftsmanship, and style.
The ultra-light Karuba wood core meets a sport-tuned construction with carbon and Titanal inserts – delivering smooth, powerful carving turns across any terrain. A full-length steel edge protects the intricate build and the elegant retro design, combining heritage with performance in every detail.
The LEGEND 1956 isn’t made for the masses – it’s crafted for true connoisseurs. For collectors, enthusiasts, and individualists who see skiing as an expression of culture and identity. For you, if you’re not just looking for a ski, but for a piece of alpine legacy.
A legendary one-of-a-kind – for a legendary price.
Ski Construction
- Classic Sandwich Sidewall – ensures precise power transmission, strong edge grip, and stable performance through a multi-layer construction with full-length sidewalls
- Karuba Wood Core – offers an ideal balance of lightness and stability, perfect for sporty skiing with efficient power transfer
- Double Titanal – provides maximum stability, excellent edge grip, and effective damping through two layers of Titanal above and below the wood core
- Carbon – reduces weight while increasing torsional stiffness and direct power transmission thanks to carbon fiber integration in the ski construction
- Double Steel Edge – increases durability and edge grip with double steel edges, ideal for intensive use and groomed slopes
- Hollowtech 2.0 Carbon – reduces weight in the shovel area and enhances smoothness and power transfer through vibration-dampening carbon reinforcement in the milled-out tip zone
