The GORE-TEX EPE 3L Shell Jacket from The Mountain Studio is designed for alpine use under demanding conditions. Developed in collaboration with GORE-TEX, it features a new high-performance ePE-based membrane that is not only durably waterproof, windproof, and highly breathable, but also PFC-free and manufactured with a reduced carbon footprint. The outer material is made from a smooth-woven, recycled 80 denier nylon. On the inside, a solution-dyed, recycled flannel lining provides a soft feel combined with high tear and abrasion resistance. The three-layer GORE-TEX EPE construction makes this jacket a reliable weather protection layer for skiing, snowboarding, and ski touring. Designed as a shell jacket, it is ideal for use in a modular layering system. It can be worn on its own in milder conditions or paired with an insulation layer in colder temperatures. Technical features include a helmet-compatible hood with cord stoppers, a ski pass pocket, an integrated snow skirt, and other practical details for mountain use.
