Swix’s modern waxing irons differ fundamentally from conventional irons. Pressed onto an insulated metal or ceramic plate and encased in a special protective layer as well as a second layer of metal or ceramic, the heating element – and thus the waxing iron as a whole – has a significantly longer service life. Rounded corners also ensure that the wax is applied without damaging the base – for targeted yet gentle care of skis and snowboards.

In addition to the classic Swix waxing irons with ergonomic handles and thick metal plates for even heating, we also offer the latest models featuring a base plate with a 50% textured surface. This prevents the wax from sticking during application, meaning even beginners can quickly get the hang of it. The temperature can be easily adjusted from 80°C to 180°C using LED buttons or a dial.

The innovative ‘Quick & Clean’ waxing method is made possible by a Fiberlene cloth, which is clamped into the Swix waxing iron to remove excess wax and dirt as soon as it is applied – meaning there is no longer any need to wipe or brush it off.
