The process consists of two simple steps: First, the wax is applied to the rotor brush by holding the wax against the wool for a few seconds while the drill is running at a speed of about 1,500 rpm.

The pad is then worked with the rotor brush by applying light pressure and moving back and forth toward the tail about 30 cm at a time. After polishing, the process can be repeated to achieve the desired result.
