Slightly tapered frames of the W-models improve agility for those with a narrow gait, and are ideal for anyone seeking a lighter snowshoe. In very loose snow or when carrying a heavy rucksack, the Modular Flotation extenders (optional) can be used to increase the surface area, and thus generate additional flotation. The Ascent variants now feature the high-quality Paragon binding. This binding is designed for a secure fit without creating pressure points. The boot can be positioned quickly and precisely.
