For the ascent, you simply fold the front part of the toe piece forward to expose the pins. To avoid additional weight on the ski, you can remove this part and stow it in your rucksack. This makes for a lighter and more agile ascent experience.

The Lock&Walk unit automatically locks the brake and offers a practical 10° climbing aid that makes climbing steep ascents child's play. Before the descent, you put the toe piece back on and activate the four-way locking system - for reliable function like a classic alpine binding.
