Atomic Redster

Atomic Redster - collection for ambitious racers

Atomic Redster stands for piste-orientated top performance with racing DNA: precise edge grip, super-stable stability and noticeable acceleration out of the turn. The centrepiece is Revoshock - spring steel-mounted modules in the ski that absorb shocks and convert energy into propulsion. Added to this are race-orientated constructions such as Ultrawall, TI Powered and Power Woodcore. At XSPO we stock selected Atomic Redster skis, boots, helmets and bindings so that you can perfectly combine speed and control.

Short story: From the racing lab to the Redster family

Atomic was founded in 1955 by Alois Rohrmoser in the Austrian Alps and is still rooted in Altenmarkt im Pongau today. Since then, the brand has been shaping the World Cup and consistently developing technologies from the race to the piste. The Redster line is the modern flagship of this racing tradition. The introduction of Revoshock (from the 2021/22 season) marked another technological leap forward. Top athletes such as Mikaela Shiffrin win on Redster skis and make a significant contribution to development. Atomic celebrated its 70th anniversary in 2025.

The way to the right Atomic Redster setup

  1. Set discipline: Long high-speed carves on the piste? Redster G9 Revoshock S. Tight, dynamic short turns? Redster S9 Revoshock S. Versatile piste skiing with a variable radius? Redster X9S/X9RS Revoshock S. FIS ambitions? Go for the Redster FIS models.
  2. Balancing stability vs. agility: Revoshock reduces vibrations and returns energy. So it's ideal if you're looking for stability at speed and acceleration at the end of a corner.
  3. Check construction: Ultrawall for direct power transmission and robustness, TI Powered for torsional rigidity, Power Woodcore for grip and smooth running.
  4. Bottleneck boot-fit solution: Very narrow feet? Redster STI with 93 mm last width. You want race feedback but a little more room in the forefoot? Redster CS with 96 mm plus Memory Fit.
  5. Complete your protection: Redster helmets (FIS or CTD/SL) with AMID technology are suitable for races and fast days on the piste; make sure they meet the necessary standards and fit correctly.

At XSPO you'll find a wide range of Atomic Redster products and we offer you a clear view of sizes, radii and boot fit. The result is a harmonious setup that combines proven quality with your skiing dynamics.

Frequently asked questions about Atomic Redster

  • What makes Atomic Redster skis so stable at speed?
The Revoshock modules made of spring steel in elastomer absorb shocks and transform them into propulsion. This increases smoothness and acceleration.
  • What is the difference between the Atomic Redster G9 and S9?
G9 Revoshock S is designed for GS-style, long carves, S9 Revoshock S for short, very fast turns. Both use Ultrawall and TI Powered for grip and control.
  • What does the Atomic Redster X series stand for?
Redster X9S/X9RS Revoshock S combines multi-radius geometry with Revoshock - ideal for skiers who switch between short and long radius turns.
  • Which Atomic Redster skis are FIS-compliant?
Models such as Redster G9 FIS Revoshock or Redster SG FIS Revoshock are FIS-compliant and use the Icon Interface.
  • What last widths do Atomic Redster ski boots offer?
Redster STI is approx. 93 mm (very narrow), Redster CS is 96 mm with Memory Fit and Power Shift Race for customisation.
  • Are Atomic Redster helmets available with race approval?
