The WCR Venom 3D SL mitten is an excellent addition to the finger version and a must-have for every racer who specialises in slalom. Developed in close collaboration with the LEKI World Cup team and technical specialist Marta Bassino, this model also offers first-class protection and performance.
The mitten's comprehensive padding reliably protects the hands from contact with gate poles and snow. A key feature is the fully integrated, flexible TPU panel, which surrounds the central knuckle area and provides outstanding cushioning, which is particularly important in tough encounters with slalom poles.
For further protection, additional silicone polygon pads are attached to the fingers of the mitten, which have been reinforced with a ceramic shell. This reinforcement ensures a particularly robust surface and high abrasion resistance, guaranteeing the durability of the glove under extreme racing conditions.
The specially developed glide zone, consisting of a speed panel, silicone pads and protected thumb, optimises contact with the slalom poles. It enables the glove to glide perfectly without the athlete losing speed. This detail makes the mitten a crucial piece of equipment that helps to save time in the race while offering maximum protection.
