The Sweet Protection Back Protector Race Vest has been specially developed for alpine ski racing, freeride skiing or snowboarding when additional protection is required. This highly functional race waistcoat is characterised by its thicker padding and meets the demanding requirements of EN 1621-2:2014, Level 2 certification.
The waistcoat is both comfortable and lightweight, yet offers maximum protection. The back protection material is made from SAS-TEC viscoelastic foam, which is known for its softness and comfort, but also has impressive multi-impact shock absorption properties. Despite the robust protective properties, the padding is surprisingly slim with a thickness of only 19 mm, which does not restrict mobility.
The waistcoat also has a wide waistband that enables a customised fit and adapts perfectly to the body. Certified according to the EN 1621-2:2014, Level 2 standard, the race version of the Sweet Protection Back Protector Race Vest is particularly recommended for anyone looking for maximum back protection during high-speed sports.
