The FIS certified Basher Ultimate ski racing helmet from Shred has an extremely flat profile, is light, super strong and durable. Shred's patent-pending RES, a rotational energy management technology, mimics the natural damping action between the skull and brain. It is the lightest and thinnest solution for absorbing oblique forces from any direction. In combination with Casidion, a nanotechnology-based impact liner that is thinner and lighter and offers a 40% improvement in impact energy reduction compared to conventional EPS helmet shells. The Shred Shield Shell is equipped with a freeride look and a conical forehead protection against the impact at the goal posts. It features a soft comfort lining with XT2® for antibacterial and odor control and has a custom fit kit for size optimization.
