    The brand new, uncompromising racing helmet from Sweet Protection especially for speed events. For this helmet Sweet Protection developed a brand new carbon fibre / polyamide shell to create the best combination of elasticity and stiffness. The edge binding is embedded in the shell and all rivets are hidden to create a smooth surface. It also features front and rear molded-in Gate Shields to protect the helmet from goal bar impacts, as well as proven impact protection technology. Additional features include two-piece emergency ear pads for excellent hearing. The Volata WC Carbon MIPS is equipped with 3-L MIPS, Sweet's unique MIPS system, which was developed specifically for Volata racing helmets to reduce rotational forces in the brain.

    MIPS mimics the protection system of our brain In the event of an impact at an angle, the helmet shell slides over the low-friction MIPS intermediate layer.

    The result: less rotational stress on the brain.
    The results of in-depth studies have shown that helmets with MIPS technology significantly reduce the loads that occur when an impact occurs at an angle. MIPS does not affect design or shape, comfort or performance. You don't even feel that you are wearing a helmet with MIPS! But in the event of a fall, the helmet slips minimally over the MIPS intermediate layer during the impact, reducing rotational stress on the brain.
